FD Recruit have another interim Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Nottingham (East Midlands) based client – handled by our Midlands Team.

We are currently recruiting for an interim Finance Director for a contracting business based in Nottingham.

This well-known company have gone from strength to strength in the past 12 months, growing their reach across the region, and implementing an exciting change program. In line with this, they have a challenging interim role set to run for an initial 6 months, with a specific focus on improving cost efficiencies and processes in response to a new and robust business strategy.

The role will involve:

• Working closely with the leadership team on the direction of the business
• Reviewing the company’s financial systems, reporting processes & controls and implementing improvements where necessary
• Leading the relationships with a variety of external professional advisors

This is a great opportunity for an FD with full accountancy qualifications, a good working knowledge of current technical financial systems, and experience of delivering business critical projects within a limited amount of time. Candidates should be forward-thinkers, creative problem solvers and natural innovators.
