FD Recruit have another CFO Job Vacancy for a Bradford based client – handled by our Yorkshire Team.

Our client, a £40m turnover manufacturer is in need of an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the business forward.

They are an innovative, market-leading business, well known for developing and launching a wide range of household products.  Due to enjoying continued growth and development, they are looking for a talented, highly commercial Chief Financial Officer to continue to drive forward future plans.

Based in their Bradford site, this role is perfect for a CFO who is talented, dynamic and has an astute commercial mind.  They will report directly to the CEO and work in partnership with Senior Leadership.

CFO Responsibilities:

• Sit on the board alongside the senior leadership
• Lead the accounting function of the business, acting as ambassador throughout the company
• Create an annual business plan
• Ensure all daily transactional accounting tasks are delivered to a high standard
• Manage and mentor the finance team
• Support the company’s strategic goals by providing insightful and accurate financial analysis
• Ensure all necessary financial accounts are delivered, from monthly management accounts to statutory accounts
• Review and enhance finance procedures
• Drive forward the budgeting and planning process
• Review new business opportunities, evaluating risk and growth opportunities
• Comply with external regulations and obligations
• Deliver financial guidance to the business

Person specification:

All applicants for this role should hold a professional qualification and have at least 10 years experience.

• Ability to communicate complex financial information throughout the business
• Knowledge of setting business strategy
