FD Recruit have another Part Time Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Edinburgh based client – handled by our Scotland Team.

Our client is an established construction sector business based in Edinburgh. Due to an extremely successful year, they are looking to recruit a part-time Finance Director.

The focus for the business is to explore fresh opportunities to diversify its customer base, while increasing profitability. This newly created role will report directly to the MD, working as part of an inspiring and passionate leadership team, and guiding a small but talented finance department.

Duties:

• Assessing and implementing cost effective changes to financial systems
• Advising the MD on key business decisions
• Providing insightful reporting on risk management and business opportunity
• Preparing the annual accounts for audit
• Managing a team of 5
• Responsibility for budgets and forecasting
• Building relationships with key stakeholders

You will need to be a fully qualified accountant with experience in a senior finance role to be considered for this role.

The ability to put forward challenging, innovative ideas at board level, lead a team, and build exceptional relationships at all levels, both internally and externally are this role’s essential requirements.
