Our client, an SME manufacturing and printing business, requires an experienced Finance Director with a hands-on approach but with a strategic and entrepreneurial mind set to lead their busy Finance team and organisation to the next level of structure and growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage day-to-day financial function
• Maintain and improve strong finance governance and financial control environment
• Challenge commercial business areas to maximise opportunities and ensure accountability
• Provide commercial & strategic support and decision-making across the business especially looking at new areas of growth
• Ensure the finance reporting is best in class, fully compliant and provides meaningful commentary for senior management
• Support the senior management team in strategic and commercial decision-making

Experience Includes:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience in manufacturing environment and international trading companies (c. £60M + t/o)
• Technically very strong, including cashflow, transfer pricing, FX, working capital etc
• Of an inquisitive nature to ensure you can identify areas of improvement and offer solutions
• Confident and clear communicator with an ability to support senior management
• Experience with JV’s

The successful candidate will be an experienced FD / CFO in manufacturing SME’s (£60M + t/o) with an international footprint, JV’s and who thrives in fast-paced, fast growth businesses. You will have a hands-on approach but also the strategic and commercial experience to support an ambitious business through the next phase of its exciting growth.
