FD Recruit have another Part Time Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Bristol based client – handled by our South West Team.

Our client based in the waste sector is seeking to recruit a Part Time Finance Director to support the development of the finance and strategies, managing operational activity and the effective running of systems, procedures and staff teams to provide a customer focused service for internal and external users of these services.

Reporting to the Group Head of Finance, the FD will be responsible for:

* Supporting the effective development and management of activities.

* Supporting the maximisation the organisation’s corporate capacity and business opportunities.

* Ensuring that the KPIs for key areas of responsibility are met or exceeded.

* Ensuring that budgets are achieved or improved upon in practice for those areas.

* Ensuring effective leadership and management of staff teams.

* Ensuring health and safety awareness, promotion, compliance and out-turns are maintained to a high standard.

* Contributing as an executive leader.

A recognised qualification for accountancy (minimum level: part-qualified chartered or certified accountant) is essential, and a degree in a relevant finance or business discipline is desirable. Experience in the education or technology sector would be beneficial.

The client is looking for a commitment of 4 days per month. In return, the successful candidate will receive a generous rate of £550 per day.
