A leading FMCG manufacturer are currently looking for a part time Finance Director to join their team based in Blackburn.

Due to a positive past 12 months, this dynamic company are now looking to further their reach and require the support of a forward-thinking FD with sound business acumen.

Forming a key part of the board, this challenging role will see the successful candidate working closely with the existing finance team to streamline current processes, update systems and develop the finance function into a first-class service. In line with this, providing support to the CEO through a solid reporting framework to help drive business critical decisions is a major facet of the role.

Main responsibilities:

• Developing a thorough working knowledge of all areas of the business and building excellent working relationships with team leaders to drive strategy
• Production of monthly accounts
• Maintenance of cash flow and profit forecasts
• Building the capabilities of the existing finance team and recruiting for a further junior member
• Developing a robust reporting framework
• Forming strong working relationships with external stakeholders
• Arrangement of insurances
• Management of HR and legal issues

Candidates must be fully qualified with at least 5-years post qualification experience.
An innate ability to influence key business decisions, effectively lead a team and champion new, innovative ways of working is essential. Along with impeccable relationship building skills and experience of remaining a source of inspiration in a challenging and fast-paced working environment.
