FD Recruit have another Part time Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Crewe based client – handled by our North West Team.

Our client is an established service sector business and due to a number of changes they are currently recruiting for a part-time Finance Director.

The main focus of this role will be to provide advisory support to the UK board, and to deputise for the CEO as required. Ensuring UK business strategy is in line with the company’s global vision is a primary consideration for all activities, and the successful candidate will also be involved with mentoring the finance team along with making sure all systems and processes conform to best working practices.

Duties:

• Assessing and implementing cost effective changes to financial systems
• Advising the Board on key business decisions
• Providing insightful reporting on risk management and business opportunity
• Coaching the finance team
• Building relationships with key stakeholders

To be considered for this role you will need to be a fully qualified accountant with at least 8-years post qualification experience. A strong track-record in a leadership role, along with a natural ability to motivate and inspire at all levels is a must. Candidates will also be expected to present themselves with gravitas in the boardroom and in front of key stakeholders.
