FD Recruit has a fantastic live Interim opportunity that is perfect for an experienced and motivated accounting professional.
The position is a 12-month contract covering maternity leave, working as part of the senior team of a pioneering and creative hospitalityTechnology business.  Based in Sheffield, this role would see the successful individual driving forward the financial strategy of the business as well as managing the finance operation on a day-to-day basis.
It’s a complex, fast-paced environment that would suit somebody who is quick thinking, determined and sharp.  It’s essential in this role to be able to balance strategy and operations and to guide the company forward to deliver their financial goals.

The role:
• Responsible for daily accounting operations
• Report into the CFO and liaise closely with Senior Management and board
• Manage individual finance projects
• Pro-actively review processes and procedures and enhance where needed
• Inspire and motivate junior team members
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, both external and internal
• Deliver critical financial insight to the business
• Prepare statutory and management reports
• Report on the financial performance of the company
• Budgeting, forecasting & planning
• Set and achieve financial goals

The ideal candidate will be:

• Financially astute, with a highly commercial outlook
• Able to inspire those around them
• An engaging and forward-thinking leader
• Fully qualified, with at least 6 years experience
• Able to demonstrate experience across the full spectrum of financial operations
