A leading financial services business with offices across the UK are currently recruiting for a Global Finance Director.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operational and commercial performance of the UK business. Working closely with the CEO, your focus will be on growing the UK business, improving profitability, and developing sales strategy. As part of this role, you’ll be tasked with highlighting trends and explaining variances to the board, along with producing regular financial reports.

Duties:

• Overall responsibility for accounting procedures
• Driving strategy across all areas
• Insightful financial analysis to be presented to the board
• Timely preparation of financial reports and briefings
• Preparation and submission of budgets, tender documents and purchasing practices
• Managing and developing the finance team
• Building effective relationships with key stakeholders

To be considered as a good fit, and a suitable candidate for this role, you will need to be a highly skilled, down-to-earth candidate with an energetic, can-do attitude. Experience of working at a similar level within the financial services sector is essential, along with the ability to take ownership of the finance department, lead and mentor a team, and credibly represent the company externally.
