THE COMPANY

The company is a multi-million SME manufacturer of engineering and related products for the construction and building sector. They are private equity backed and require a part time CFO.

THE POSITION

This is a part time CFO position, c.1-2 days / week. The role has a strong commercial and strategic element including responsibilities:

• assist and advise the managing director and board on commercial and strategic direction.
• liaise with non executive and private equity backer.
• develop the finance function, information and outputs to a rigorous informative level to enhance board decision making.
• review and analyse product groups and profitability.
• cash flow management.

THE CANDIDATE

The position requires a part time CFO with experience of manufacturing, ideally related to the engineering/construction sector. You should have experience with SMEs and strong commercial, strategic and board advice experience in addition to deep finance skills and gravitas.
