A fantastic opportunity has just arisen for a creative-minded interim Finance Director at a growing IT company based in Cambridge.

Our client is a £7m turnover business with regional offices across the country. Due to a series of lucrative contract wins, this company is now set for the next stage of expansion, and they need strong financial leadership in order to effectively realise growth ambitions.

Advising across business strategy and championing change, the successful candidate will:

• Provide sound financial advice to support the group’s planning priorities
• Manage budgets and create a robust reporting framework
• Ensure financial regulations are adhered to
• Lead the development of strategic financial to illustrate proposals
• Develop new systems and processes
• Lead and manage the finance team
• Hold overall responsibility for bank accounts

Candidates must be fully qualified accountants with demonstrable experience of developing and achieving high level, effective finance goals.

Essential personal attributes include being able to build influential working relationships both internally and externally within a short space of time, a hands-on, can-do attitude and the ability to inspire and drive change.
