FD Recruit have another Finance Director Job Vacancy for a York based client – handled by our North Yorkshire Team.

Our client, a well-known wholesaler are currently seeking a Finance Director with solid multi-site sector experience to join their team near York.

This is a challenging and rewarding role with significant responsibility as the company look to build on a successful past 12 months, and venture into new markets. In line with this, this role will focus heavily on exploring and advising on key opportunities.

Key tasks:

• Providing strategic direction for the company working closely with the CEO and executive board
• Management of Finance Department
• Overseeing more complicated financial processes
• Setting and achieving financial budgets and forecasts
• Developing finance and related IT processes to improve effectiveness

This role would suit an FD with a strong track record within a similar background, with the ability to lead a team to excel, and deliver consistently high performance levels across all areas of responsibility.

Candidates must have at least 5+ years in a high-energy, demanding FD role.
