A brand new role is now live with our client based in Yorkshire.  A reputable and growing retail  firm is seeking a Finance Director to join their senior team in Sheffield and contribute to the continued growth and expansion of the business.
They require a highly capable, efficient and professional Finance Director with exceptional operational and managerial skills.  Based in their Sheffield Head Office, this role is ideal for an experienced Finance Director who is looking for an exciting new opportunity.

Finance Director Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial operation of the business on a day-to-day basis, including compliance, P&L and risk analysis
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including banks and auditors
• Assist the CEO and Senior team with budget setting
• Deliver financial guidance for Senior team to support the business objectives
• Deliver daily and weekly cashflows
• Produce all relevant financial reports and accounts in an accurate and timely manner
• Manage and develop the finance team
• Play a crucial role in development of finance strategy
• Ensure financial systems are efficient and effective

The Ideal Candidate:

Our client is searching for a Finance Director with comprehensive experience in finance and who is able to fully support business needs through their positive and driven nature.  While the ideal Finance Director will have knowledge or experience of the Manufacturing sector, this is not a pre-requisite to be considered for the role.

It is essential that the new FD bring with them an ability to multi-task across a wide range of projects, as well as the skills to delegate and manage a team.  It is essential that they possess first-rate skills in reporting, strategy, operations and analysis.

Candidates must be fully qualified with at least 5 years similar experience.
