FD Recruit have a Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Bristol based client – handled by our South West Team.

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Finance Director at one of the UK’s niche insurance businesses.
This fantastic opportunity will give the right candidate a chance to get involved with an exciting mix of project work, people management, and business strategy. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll be working alongside an experienced and dynamic leadership team, along with taking up an influential place in the senior leadership team.

The main objectives of this role day-to-day will include:
• Regularly preparing financial reports and budgets
• Acting as the business partner for the CEO
• Providing operational and finance support to key, senior stakeholders
• Developing risk and opportunity matrix
• Implementing the best tools to ensure consistency and develop efficiencies

This is both a challenging and a rewarding role for a candidate with energy, experience, dynamism and first-class people skills. To be considered, you will need to be a fully qualified accountant, with great hands on experience of improving financial systems and processes, coaching and developing a team, and working closely with senior team leaders to promote best practice throughout the business.
