FD Recruit have another interim CFO Job Vacancy for a Newcastle based client – handled by our North East Team.

Our client is a £60m turnover engineering business who are looking for an experienced interim FD / CFO for a 3-6 month interim appointment. Reporting to the CEO you will run a finance team of 8 and your duties will be to:

• Assess current systems and processes and implementing improvements
• Work closely with the CEO and senior leaders to drive business strategy
• Develop a robust reporting framework
• Raise the organisation’s profile with key stakeholders and external suppliers
• Advise on business critical contracts

To be considered you will have:

• A full accountancy qualification
• Significant Finance Director  / CFO experience gained in privately run businesses
• Experience of:turnaround situations
• A good understanding of costings
• Any experience of automotive or aerospace manufacturing & dealing with tier 1 OEMs would be an advantage
