AFR Consulting Launch New Brand

Leading specialist financial recruiters AFR Consulting have launched a new brand to take their top level FD recruitment function to a national market.

The senior division of AFR Consulting which handles Finance Director vacancies of salaries over £60K has rebranded and has a new identity called ‘FD Recruit’.

FD Recruit will focus on placing solely Finance Directors and CFOs in positions on a national level, with AFR Consulting remaining focused on the junior and mid-management level roles within the North West.

FD Recruit is being headed up by Phil Scott who co-founded AFR Consulting in 2004 and he will resume the role of Managing Director.

Phil said: “This was a logical and natural step for us. The nature of the top level roles that we place means working with very specialist skill sets on highly competitive roles and the right candidates for these roles can be based anywhere.”

“Much of AFR’s success was because of our solely financial focus and so targeting this further still, to Finance Director roles in businesses turning over £5million-£1billion will make us one of the only specialists and being immersed in the market means we will be ahead of the game for candidates and clients.

AFR launched a sub-brand last year as a response to the trend in the market for Part-Time FDs and that will now be absorbed as a division of FD Recruit – The Part-Time FD Hub.

Phil Scott combined his passion for meeting people and recruitment with his degree in Accountancy and Finance when setting up AFR Consulting nearly 10 years ago.

Phil has always spearheaded unique initiatives, establishing AFR as an innovative and proactive firm.

In 2010 they launched The FD Network, which has become one of the largest accountancy and finance networking groups in the North West, giving Finance Directors the opportunity to network with peers and continue their personal development through high profile keynote speakers and workshops covering technical updates and topical developments.

FD Recruit has already built a vast and varied network of candidates looking for their next role, from time served FDs with a wealth of experience to rising stars with a thirst for growth and they know the people looking to move and to recruit often before they hit the jobs market.

As well as the Part-Time FD Hub division of FD Recruit, they will also have a strong Interim FD division as well as a permanent offering and the team will also work closely with FDs with a proven track record within Private Equity or Venture Capital backed companies.
