FD Recruit have another Part Time Finance Director Job Vacancy for a West London based client – handled by our South East Team.

Our client is a well-funded property landlord within the charitable sector who is looking for a Part-Time FD (2-3 days per week) to help with excess workload within their finance function. The Finance Director will help optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position. The FD will work with senior teams formulating plans and advise on the financial affairs of the organisation.

Duties will entail

To help deliver the financial management of the organisation
Assist with annual reporting, statutory submissions and audit preparations;
Operate full financial accounting and management information systems.
Ensure invoicing and receipt of funds are effectively managed.
Management accounts
Negotiation with tenants
Financial oversight of development projects
Set up new subsidiary accounts
Act as ‘Client side representative’ on projects
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Identify potential or actual risks (financial and reputational) related to corporate activities and take all reasonable and appropriate steps to mitigate or eliminate.
Lead key commercial and contractual negotiations with a variety of organisations
Proactively manage new income generation
Initiate and manage change processes and projects and contribute to development of new initiatives to secure improvements to policy, procedure and operation

Person Specification

An experienced finance and accounting professional with proven track record working as a Finance Director
Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification
A commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance.
Experience of Charities or Property portfolio’s.
