Part-Time Finance Director, (2 days per week)

Our client is a growing management consultancy who is seeking a Part Time Finance Director to provide support to the Senior Management and to assist them with further growth.

Responsibilities entail;

• Leading the finance team
• Provide leadership to the Board’s Finance and Accounting strategy in order to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position
• Take overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the business, contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
• Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
• Manage the Company Secretarial duties as appropriate, manage the risk register and all matters related to data protection
• Point of contact for lawyers, insurers & pension providers

Qualifications and experience

• Qualified accountant
• Previous experience as a finance director
• Experienced in leading teams and driving continuous improvement
• Track record of contributing to business growth and creating added value

The successful candidate will have significant experience of professional services where time is recorded and allocated to client logs or alternatively you will be from a construction background where monitoring of long term contracts / project costs is the norm.
