FD Recruit have another Part Time Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Inverness based client – handled by our Scotland Team.

Our client is a small international e-commerce business who now require an experienced CFO / FD for 1-2 days per week to assist with exit planning and lead the business to an eventual sale. The FD will establish strong financial processes and procedures to provide the shareholders with corporate governance and guidance on due diligence.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage the finance function and ensure maximum value / return.
Implement robust internal controls
Establish annual/monthly KPIs
Establish and review budgeting & forecasts
Help improve profitability
Liaise with external advisors, Banks & Auditors
Help monitor and negotiate costs of large expenditure items
Review and standardise customer contracts
Exit & vendor due diligence planning

Key Background/Experience:

SME E-commerce / technology experience
Knowledge of trading internationally
Exit Planning / Experience of a several business sales
Managing stakeholder / shareholder relations
Due diligence planning
Much of the role can be based remotely but you must be prepared to attend board meetings in Inverness at least once a month. The role would suit an experienced Part Time Finance Director with experience of SME tech businesses. Only candidates with experience of business exits will be considered.
