An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Director at an innovative biotechnology firm based in London.

This varied role will entail working closely with senior leaders and the CEO, developing and driving high level strategy, building exceptional relationships at all levels both internally and externally, and developing a first-rate finance function.

This role will form an integral part of the board in an influential position and as such the ability to lead and inspire people, acting as a positive champion for change is essential.

The role:

• Working closely with the CEO to develop and drive business strategy
• Leading, developing and inspiring the existing finance team
• Building exceptional relationships with team leaders and gain a full understanding of all business areas
• Streamlining current financial processes and develop a robust reporting framework
• Assessing current finance systems and implement cost effective improvements
• Building influential relationships with stakeholders

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with at least 8-years post qualification experience. A great culture fit is essential for this role. The company is innovative, creative and fast-paced, demanding a FD with attributes that echo these qualities and fits into the team.

In return, expect an attractive salary of £130-£150k dependant on experience.
