FD Recruit have another Interi Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Glasgow based client – handled by our Scotland Team.

This is a unique opportunity for a forward thinking and ambitious Interim Finance Director to join a famous professional services business based in Glasgow for 6 months. The key remit of the newly appointed Finance Director will be to work alongside the high profile Board managing the company accounting function, it’s financial and commercial strategy and ensuring that the medium and longer term financial aims of the business materialise.

Key responsibilities

• Work effectively to oversee the Finance Team as the function continues to evolve
• Business partnering closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the group hits its strategic milestones
• Provision of financial support for strategic initiatives through detailed financial analysis, making recommendations and supporting the decision making process
• Benchmarking and driving efficiency through performance tracking
• Offering key strategic advice and analysis in relation to international expansion and effective growth strategy

Candidates must

• Be ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified with a minimum 10 years PQE gained within growing company environments.
• The ability to demonstrate a strong ‘can do’ attitude, possess strong I.T. knowledge, and be capable of demonstrating credibility and integrity are important
• The role is very hands on so you will need to be technically competent with both financial regulation and systems.
• This is the key commercial position for the exec team so you will need a track record of commercial decision making and acting as a business partner to non-finance staff.
• The ability to influence change and improvements across the business will be vital.

In return the candidate will receive a generous salary of between £500-550 per day
