FD Recruit have another Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Gloucester based client – handled by our South West Team.

Our client is a leading leisurel business undergoing rapid organic and acquisitive growth. Having recently acquired a company based in Gloucester, the company is looking to appoint a Finance Director to head up the finance function at this new site.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and being a key member of the new executive leadership team, the Finance Director will take full responsibility for the finance function, offering strategic support and direction to the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the financial and management accounting systems, including championing improvements to management information.
• Formulate budgets and forecasts, driving delivery and improvements.
• Manage functional and strategic improvements to finance department to ensure they meet the company’s requirements.
• Provide guidance for the business on key management decisions and monitor performance.
• Actively participate in Lean activities.
• Manage the capital expenditure process from inception of idea to post implementation review.

The ideal candidate should be ACA qualified with significant senior commercial finance exposure, ideally from within the industrial sector or a similar contract driven manufacturing environment. Applicants should have a demonstrable track record within blue chip environments and the management of multi-million pound budgets and P&Ls. Experience of leading and influencing growth and development within a commercial environment is a must.
