Our Peterborough based client has a great role available now for a dynamic, forward-thinking Finance Director.

The successful individual will be given autonomy within the business to make a positive impact.  The main objectives of the role are to manage the day-to-day finance operations and contribute to financial planning and strategy.

Our client has earned themselves a solid reputation in their field and continues to thrive in the manufacturing industry.  They are now looking for an FD who can take their company to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the delivery of company financial operations
• Support the training and development of members of the finance team
• Contribute to shaping company financial strategy
• Manage annual budgeting and forecasting
• Provide accurate, insightful and astute financial analysis
• Build excellent working relationships throughout the business and support internal departments with financial queries
• Prepare all relevant accounts and reports
• Work closely with Senior Management and provide all required financial guidance

The person:

This role is for you if you are knowledgeable, experienced and proficient across the various accounting responsibilities.  You will be able to hit the ground running and make a visible impact in the company in a short space of time.  While strategic abilities are important, our client requires an individual who can exceed expectations in day-to-day operational delivery.  Strong time management skills and ability to balance a busy workload are required.

Candidates must hold an accountancy qualification and have a minimum of 6 years’ experience.
