FD Recruit have another Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Nottingham based client – handled by our Midlands Team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a gifted and experienced Finance Director within a leading engineering business.

The successful candidate will be part of the organisation’s senior management team, working closely with business leaders and reporting into the CEO. Day-to-day you’ll be involved with a refreshing mix of project and strategy work. In addition to this, you’ll be expected to lead and develop a multi-skilled finance team, championing best practice and ensuring all systems and processes are first-class.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing and developing a small finance team
• Working alongside the CEO on growth strategy
• Advising business leaders on all financial matters
• Ensuring that financial processes and systems are in place to support expansion plans
• Building excellent relationships with stakeholders

To be considered for this role, you will need to be a fully qualified accountant with at least 5-years’ experience in a senior management role. Experience within a similar background isn’t essential, but you will need to have a strong track-record in developing a team, developing finance strategy, working closely with team leaders to combat pain points, and the ability to develop a highly motivated team.
